On Monday, March 30th, at 17:05 UTC, we will be implementing further changes to Gear distribution and introducing a system for it that will be more standardized and easy to predict. The main takeaway from the change is: every Monday you can expect all of the below items to be updated with the newest Gear in the game that premiered in the Battle Event. Here is what’s changing:

The Elite Gear Shards will be completely revamped into what the name suggests: your best source for the newest, strongest Gear, with higher odds.

What will Elite Gear Shard contain?

– 14 newest Gear from the best sets in the game
– A pool of strongest Main-Hand and Off-Hand Weapons out there
– The brand new items that will bring your collections to the new heights

When will Elite Gear Shard be updated?

You can expect it to be updated with the start of each Grand Event on Monday. The newest items in the game, the ones that premiered as promoted Gear in the recent Battle Event, will be added into the Elite Gear Shard, and in turn, the two oldest items from the pool will be removed. This will ensure that the Elite Gear Shards are always bringing you the newest and most powerful Gear – truly Elite!

The changes are also coming to the Legendary Gear Shards. This will be a great place to get powerful Legendary Gear from.

What will Legendary Gear Shard contain?

It will contain all of the Legendary Gear that the Eternal Chest does apart from the 14 newest Gear that you can find in the Elite Gear Shard.

When will Legendary Gear Shard be updated?

Similar to other items, it will be updated with the start of each Grand Event on Monday. The two items that are removed from the Elite Gear Shard will then be added into the Legendary Gear Shard. And the two oldest items from the Legendary Gear Shard will be removed from it completely – that way the number of the items remains the same, keeping the same chances of getting great Gear.

After the change, we are returning to what you know and love: items from the two newest sets from a given emblem, including the Main-Hand and Off-Hand Weapons from the emblem, and the collection-improving items. Do note that the latest DRAGON, SHADOW, and SACRED sets will have lower odds than other sets. This will always pertain only to the three newest sets in the game – right now for example both NATURE sets within the schemes have the exact same odds. As the new set premieres, it replaces one on the list of three, and the odds for the one replaced will rise.

What will Emblem Gear Scheme contain now?

– Gear from the two newest sets from the given emblem
– Main-Hand and Off-Hand Weapons
– Collection-improving items if they have been released for the given emblem
– Highest chances for Weapons and three newest sets than in Emblem Gear Swap and Emblem Gear Shard.

When will Emblem Gear Scheme be updated?

Similar to other items, it will be updated with the start of each Grand Event on Monday. You can also expect two newest Gear in the game to be updated in their respective emblems.

The Emblem Gear Swap will contain the same Gear as the Emblem Gear Scheme.

What will Emblem Gear Swap contain now?

– Gear from the two newest sets from the given emblem
– Main-Hand and Off-Hand Weapons
– Collection-improving items if they have been released for the given emblem
– Slightly higher chances for Weapons and three newest sets than in Emblem Gear Swap.

When will Emblem Gear Swap be updated?

Similar to other items, it will be updated with the start of each Grand Event on Monday. You can also expect two newest Gear in the game to be updated into their respective emblems.

The Emblem Gear Shard will contain the same Gear as in Emblem Gear Swap.

What will Emblem Gear Shard contain now?

– Gear from the two newest sets from the given emblem
– Main-Hand and Off-Hand Weapons
– Collection-improving items if they have been released for the given emblem

When will Emblem Gear Shard be updated?

Similar to other items, it will be updated with the start of each Grand Event on Monday. You can also expect two newest Gear in the game to be updated into their respective emblems.

Where are the best items? What should you open?

If you are going for the newest/strongest sets, your priorities should be:

Elite Gear Shard > Scheme > Swap > Emblem Gear Shard > Legendary Gear Shard.

Example of this system

So, to give you a practical example of all this: the Battle Event comes around with promoted Gear, let’s say for example a Ring and a Necklace from the newest DRAGON set. As the Battle Event ends and the Grand Event begins on Monday, those items will be added to:

– Elite Gear Shard (two oldest items from it get removed)
– DRAGON Gear Scheme, with a lower chance than older items (two oldest items from the pool are removed)
– DRAGON Gear Swap, with a lower chance than older items (two oldest items from the pool are removed, same as above)
– DRAGON Gear Shard, same as above.
Other sources of Gear: Eternal Chest, Best Chest, and Battle Event chests will also be updated with those items but with a week of a delay.
